For thousands of years, humans have taken to sporting battlefields. Often, whether we win or lose, we leave the battlefield bloody and bruised. Why is it that we endure such pain and risk injury just for a game - for sport? This film explores the answer to this question through the sporting ritual of "Pasola", on the remote island region of Sumba, Indonesia.
